 My parents, Oscar and I, and our sweet fur baby at the Kittery welcome center. Behind us is Smoky the Bear wearing a mask! Every summer since my brother and his wife moved up to Maine (~5 years ago), my parents have made the 13-hour drive from NE Ohio to visit them for a week or two around the 4th of July. This year, my husband finally has a permanent job (rather than a contract) and we have paid vacation again for the first time in 8 years! So we were able to come along too, and we had a fantastic time!

I also answered an interview question for Amazon top book reviewer Darcia Helle. See my answer with her beautiful Instagram picture here. I took a lovely, wonderful vacation to Maine (where my brother lives) from June 27th to July 7th, so I'm still catching up on work stuff and settling back into my normal routine. Will try to put up some vacation pictures here soon! Stay tuned! :) We went to some gorgeous places like Acadia National Park! |
