It’s almost the end of the year...the end of the decade...and I’ve been reflecting on all that’s happened to me in 2019 (which is a lot!) and everything I have to be thankful for (also a lot!). I feel a list coming on:

 This was originally typed in Patreon as my Friday Fun post, but then it got too long and rant-y (I really needed to get this out of my system ... it was therapeutic, at least) and I decided to post it here. It starts out kind of bitter but ends up in a good place, so just a warning about that ... and if you start reading, please finish.
 I participated in three different #PitMad Pitch Wars events (for Hunter's Moon) in late 2018 and early 2019. I honed my tweets based on the tweets I saw that got a lot of likes and comments. I figured out the desired pattern and followed it. Yet I never got a single like from a literary agent (which means they want you to query them, and gives you an advantage over unsolicited queries).
