My co-execs at Thinklings and I have been cooking up new marketing strategies for this season of COVID-19 and quarantine. It's kind of a bummer for our authors (and all the authors out there) who are about to have their books published, that they can't do in-person book signings right now. BUT we Thinklings are ever resourceful, and having to change our tack means that our readers benefit! How so? Well, we've set up a drawing—a signed paperback giveaway! Right now it applies to our first three books, the ones already out: mine, Bargaining Power, and The Disposable. And down the road, whenever a new book is released, it'll have a monthly drawing as well. This Thinklings blog post tells the details.
So keep an eye on our Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram (all linked to in that post). Details about the time and “place” for the drawing are TBA. By place, I mean in cyberspace. LOL. We are all safely quarantined or socially distanced. I hope you are too, and I hope you take advantage of this opportunity! I love signing books and the feel of a paperback in my hands. Which I will wash very thoroughly before touching any book I sign, and will also sanitize the pen first. :) If you’ve already got an e-book but no receipt to prove it, you can leave a review. REVIEWS ARE CRUCIAL. :) The more reviews an author gets, the more visibility their book gets in the dense, jam-packed jungle that is Amazon. And more visibility means more sales, and that means I get to keep eating. Locked away in my home—not at my favorite, lovely restaurants, which I miss very much. . . . This too shall pass. But don’t pass up the opportunity to get a free signed paperback! :) Take care, everyone. <3
