Well, I decided to be cliché again and do a love-related post in February. LOL... I'm not going to do a list of 28 things like I did a couple of years ago. Just some random ramblings and some pictures. :) Because (and this is NOT a thing I love) I'm crazy busy right now!! To start off, in general, the Big Three things I love: God, my family/friends, and my job. I call Oscar and Thatcher "my boyos," and they are my little world. Two of my greatest blessings. <3 <3 Look how sweet they are... Thatcher absolutely adores his daddy (he's a daddy's boy for sure!) but Oscar says he fusses for me when I'm gone, too. The pup doesn't have as many opportunities to miss me since I work at home, lol. He's a very good boy and lets Momma get her work done while he chills out on the couch or in our bedroom - the only completely carpeted room in our house. He's 11ish now but still pretty spry and active, PTL. (Yes, he's getting "old man" vitamins, heh.) I won't get all mushy about Oscar because I can hear you going "Eeeew!" LOL. We've been through a lot together, and I know we're in this for life. After all, if the huge amount of B.S. we've gone through already (mostly in the job and health departments) in 10 years of marriage hasn't broken us, well, it seems like nothing will - and the glory for that goes to God...plus, He made us both very stubborn people, haha.
All is fairly well right now, btw. No major crap being flung at us currently. We're happy he just got a raise, which is very well-deserved, because his middle name is Integrity; he's always on time, always does his best and then some, and I'm glad the company acknowledged that, as they should! <3 (As many other companies have failed to do... What's with all the awful employers these days, anyway??? Okay, rant typed and deleted. Moving on...) Today I have "I can't see me lovin' nobody but you for all my life..." stuck in my head. We played that song at our wedding reception. It applies to both the above and the below: Thinklings is my dream job, although - like any job - it has its downsides, which IMO are marketing and developing a social media addiction. ;P But it more than makes up for those things with its mission of helping deserving authors, and with the fact that I get to read all the awesome books we publish and make them even better! <3 <3 I can't see myself doing any other job; I hope I can keep this one my whole life.... Aaand that's all I feel like writing here this month. I'd much rather get back to revising Blood Moon, and I bet you'd prefer me to do that too. ;) Eh, I'll just throw in one more pic first, since I said "pictures" above, lol! Here's a good one...
